In 2016 sloot ik elke
avond op Twitter af met een generiek van een tv-serie uit het verre of nabije
verleden. ‘Generieken’, 366 schrikkeljaardagen lang. Dit is, op verzoek van
trouwe volgers, de lijst: niet in volgorde van tweets, maar in chronologische
volgorde. Ik begon er dit jaar aan met You Bet Your Life, een eigenzinnige, knotsgekke quiz met de
onvergelijkbare Groucho Marx als quizmaster-entertainer-ordeverstoorder, en
eindig, vandaag, met de generiek van The West Wing, een van mijn all-time favorites. Ik vermeld telkens het eerste jaar
dat de serie werd uitgezonden. Sommige series liepen vele seizoenen.
